About Structube

Structube is a retailer specializing in modern furniture and accessories. The mission of the company is to offer a range of state-of-the-art furniture and accessories at the best possible price. Founded in 1974, Structube entered the market with a single store located at the intersection of Sherbrooke and Parc Streets in Montreal. Over time, this small family business has become a thriving retailer, now Canada's leader in contemporary furniture.

Initial Objectives

Structube wanted to replace its obsolete system and meet the needs of its increasingly demanding customers. In addition, the company was looking for a solution to achieve the following objectives:

  • Allow the addition of new features;

  • Support all outlets with only one system;

  • Build an integrated transactional site with its integrated ERP and mobile touch point of sale (POS) application;

  • Instant update of information (regarding orders, sales and inventory).

LS Central for Microsoft Dynamics was therefore the chosen solution for the retail component. Moreover, Structube had implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly NAV) three years earlier for its accounting management. Structube has thus chosen to once again trust this solution for finance, purchasing and supplier management thanks to, among other things, the available support network of the large Business Central community.

In addition, the precise functionalities and visual appearance of the solution, making it very easy to use, also helped to guide this decision.

A Shared Effort

The main stages of the project lasted about a year. These were the:

  • Analysis of the situation;

  • Data migration;

  • In-house testing.

Thanks to the active participation of the Structube team members and Createch’s expertise, all the products were simultaneously changed in all 44 Structube stores located in different time zones. In addition, Createch’s strong support has allowed them to gain a great deal of autonomy.

Why Createch?

Structube chose Createch because of its past experience with the firm, including the implementation of WMS K.Motion Warehouse Edge (formerly Highjump Warehouse Edge) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The expertise demonstrated by the team has made it a partner of choice.
