Createch’s Asset Lifecycle Management for Maximo was developed with the intention that organizations will have the information needed to make financial and maintenance decisions to optimize asset performance.

The cost of maintaining an asset throughout its lifecycle is forecasted by tracking the costs of its individual components. The Asset Surveys application facilitates the collection of lifecycle data for each component:

• Replacement Cost 
• Expected Lifetime 
• Identify repair vs. replacement

The result of collecting the life cycle survey data will allow a user to view the cost projections over a 30-year span. The application also allows a user to modify which year repair or replacement work is scheduled to control or level the costs over time. These data points provide a baseline for assumptions about when a particular asset, such as a boiler or chiller, will need to be replaced.
